Economic Research Jobs description
Economic research analysts help understand the macroeconomic outlook and monetary policy prospects. The analyst works with portfolio mangers to identify and dissect important macroeconomic themes. The economic research analyst constructs PowerPoint presentations on the US economic outlook and monetary policy prospects and to ascertain what the future holds for the US economic market. The economic research analysts analyze US and global economic data and their implications for the fixed-income markets. They understand and track private-sector economic forecasts and research. The economic research analysts understand and track large banking and economic forecasts and research. They collaborate with global interest rates team on various financial themes. The economic research analysts are also responsible for the econometric modeling of important data releases.Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years professional work experience in the financial services sector.
- Working knowledge of the financial markets, with familiarity in fixed income products and investing.
- He should be a graduate in finance or economics.
