Research Engineer Jobs description
Research engineers are primarily involved in designing, conducting and analyzing experiments, either with a definite end use (to develop new products, processes, or commercial applications) or to broaden scientific understanding in general. The research engineer independently evaluates, selects, and applies standardized scientific or engineering procedures and techniques. The assignments have clear and specified objectives, and require the investigation of a limited number of variables. Research engineers are also assigned the task of processing and analyzing results and data. The research engineers communicate results to the scientific community via published papers and collaborate with industry/academia to apply the results of research and develop new techniques, products, or practices. The research engineer assists in preparation of reports, papers, presentations, new proposals, etc. and may collaborate on some; presents papers at technical meetings.Bachelor's or Master's degree or higher in an appropriate field is required for the post. Minimum experience requirement is two to four year's experience in a related area or equivalent.
