The University wishes to recruit a 0.8 time, 6 month Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF) to work on an exciting new project to develop a nature-on-prescription intervention.  The post will start in June 2022. Interviews are expected to take place in March/April 2022.
The overall aim of the project is to develop the processes
for, and test the feasibility of, an approach for a future RCT to test the effectiveness of Nature-on-Prescription for people with common mental health conditions.

The post-holder will be based at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health in Truro, Cornwall but flexible working arrangements are also possible. Some travel in the South West will be required. They will join a multi-disciplinary team on the project (including social prescribing, primary care, complex intervention development, public engagement, statistics) based at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (Exeter & Truro) and the University of Plymouth. 
All candidates must have a PhD in a relevant subject including, but not limited to, health research, sociology, psychology, or equivalent research experience and knowledge. You will have experience of stakeholder/public involvement and quantitative and qualitative research methods as well as an understanding of social prescribing and research to evaluate complex interventions. A knowledge of nature-based interventions and in mental health would be an advantage.
